Om meg: SISSEL M KLEIVDAL HAGA ------------------------------------------------------- I was born in Oslo, the capital of Norway, 1960. Later on I moved to Stavanger on the West Coast of Norway. Now living by the oscean. Under a high sky I find myself to be actively open to my surroundings. I am inspired by the sea, the sky, the light, the wind, and the people. I became interested in art of an early age. As a child I filled our neighbours mailbox with drawings. From drawings to oil on canvas. Then I got my first camera. It was not long before I had my first photography course, and my own darkroom. I`m now a digital photographer. I describe myself as an mindful and expressive amateur photographer, who emphasizes B/W photography. With my camera, life experience, open perspective and keen eye, I am attuned to those elements and subjects with a message or story to share. I therefor like to think that my work resonate with passion for life and its stories. Susan Sonstag have said; Photographs really are experience captured, and the camera is the ideal arm of consciousness in its acquistive mood. I feel suspended in time while capturing a scene or an essence. Intruged by its artistry, energy, resilience, and purpose.
